| Under the Control of Substances
Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 1999 there is a mandatory
requirement for organisations to operate a system of COSHH assessments
for any products used containing hazardous substances. |
| IMASS Safety Consultants have
offered advice, training courses and
strategy audit since the company’s conception, but have
always felt that the support available in terms of software
has either been too complex, or does not offer the correct features
to allow a client to meet the terms of the regulations. |
| It was for this reason that we developed the IMASS Technologies COSHH
Assessor system. COSHH Assessor is a software based solution which provides
clients with the methodology of completing Assessments. The reporting function
provides discreet overview, First Aid reports and supports both Occupational
Hygiene management and Occupational Health surveillance
requirements. |
| Substance usage analysis documents
used in the initial survey stage by the management team enable
assessors to determine how products are used in the workplace
and this information is proven to be key to successful assessment. |
| From the outputs of the above, assessment detail is streamed,
allowing a filtering system for simple and complex assessments. |
